My career in Podcasting has taken me all over, from street corners in The Bay, to the homes of former political prisoners in Burma. Above everything, I am a storyteller at heart, and find the greatest joy in collaborating with others so more people can tell more stories.

Tales of The Town is a new podcast and multimedia project about Black Oakland. This podcast is executive produced and hosted by Abbas Muntaqim and Delency Parham, and the senior producer is our good friend Maya Cueva, who is an award winning documentarian and audio engineer. I Sound Designed and contributed music to this show, I also contributed an audio installation to the traveling Art and Film exhibit. The Official Black Panther Podcast
From Proximity Media and Marvel Studios, this podcast is an intimate look into the making of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, written and hosted by Ta-Nehisi Coates, featuring conversations with Ryan Coogler, Angela Bassett and more. On this show, I was a Sound Designer and Composer. In addition to creating music for the show, I used stems of the Original Scores from both Black Panther films to reimagine the themes and sounds of Wakanda and Talokan for the Podcast.

Ear Hustle
From 2016-2020 I helped launch the Peabody and Pulitzer Prize nominated podcast Ear Hustle inside of San Quentin State Prison along with people incarcerated there. I worked as a producer and lead the Sound Design Team inside the prison’s media lab. I also developed skill sharing classes and training workshops for folks inside. In addition to the award winning work we were able to create together, I am most proud of the platform and resources that were created so more folks inside can tell more stories. Abolition is the Future.
Snap Judgment
I am a Senior Audio Producer for Snap Judgment and have worked with the show since it’s second season back in 2012. During my time at Snap Judgment, I have done everything from produce segments, edit, compose music, sound design, and engineer the show.
